About Rao Communications
Mika Rao is a seasoned marketing and communications professional with 15 years of experience. After graduating from the University of Pennsylvania, she began her career as a change management consultant with Accenture,LLP. Her clients included those in the financial services and pharmaceutical industries. Later, she served as a marketing manager for Dale Carnegie Training, the organization behind the book, "How to Win Friends and Influence People." More recently, Mika has held manager roles in Public Relations , Internal Communications, and Marketing with large health care organizations, including Houston’s Memorial Hermann Health System. A long-time social entrepreneur, Mika co-founded the award-winning organization Project IMPACT. She remains involved in community service projects in Katy and Houston.
Rao Communications’ clients span organizations in the health care, financial services, non-profit, education and new media sectors. Mika also is a regular contributor to numerous publications, including absolutely!Katy magazine. She is a member of the International Association of Business Communicators and the Public Relations Society of America. Mika also serves as a local representative for the University of Pennsylvania’s Alumni Council on Admissions.
